From 2003 to 2006, Nina Liu worked as an Assistant to the CFO, and later became the Staff Accountant, at Dnastar Inc. Dnastar develops and sells DNA analysis software for life scientists. Its products are used in more than 65 countries in addition to each state in the United States. Mrs. Liu supported the growth of this business and took on virtually all of its accounting responsibilities.
From 1985 to 1995, Mrs. Liu had worked as a librarian in the Purchasing and Allocation Department at Anhui University in China. This department purchased and allocated all of the books of the province’s major university. After three years of living in England, she moved to the United States in 1998. In August of 2006, her family moved to Tallahassee, where she joined Millennium Settlements, Inc.
Mrs. Liu holds a B.A. degree in Chinese Language and Literature and an Associates Degree in Accounting from Madison Area Technical College.
